This woman had DCIS of the left breast in the past, which was treated with a lumpectomy and radiation. When she developed a recurrence of the DCIS on the left, she then had a mastectomy with immediate DIEP flap reconstruction at the same time. Dr. Hubert also performed a balancing breast reduction for the right breast. She also had nipple reconstruction on the left but decided against a tattoo for the color of the areola.
