Best Bedside Manner
Dr. Hubert has received the “Best Bedside Manner” award from OurHealth Magazine for the Greater Richmond Area on multiple occasions. These include First Place for the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery category in their Nov/Dec 2019 issue, and for the Cosmetic Plastic Surgery category in their Nov/Dec 2017 issue. He was featured in a CBS 6 “Heroes Among Us” segment about a 9-year-old orphan from Kazakhstan.
Dr. Hubert donated his time and abilities to repair the cleft lip of this little girl from central Asia. She had also been born with a deformity of her eyelid, made worse by a surgeon in her own country. Dr. Hubert performed reconstructive surgery for her eyelid at the same time, to allow her to close her eye.
