53 year old woman with breast cancer on the right side. She had bilateral mastectomies and implant reconstruction by other surgeons (intermediate #1). After radiation on the right side, the implant was lost due to an infection (intermediate #2). She was referred to Dr. Hubert who performed a DIEP flap for just the right side. Since the left breast implant reconstruction was doing well, no changes were made on that side. She also had one round of outpatient fat transfer to the right breast, suctioned from her flanks. Dr. Hubert reconstructed the nipples on both sides, and the patient declined tattoos for the areolas.
