Woman with breast cancer on the left who had mastectomies on both sides and tissue expander reconstruction. Two weeks after she finished radiation treatment, her incision opened up and she lost the expander (Intermediate photo). After sufficient healing time, Dr. Hubert reconstructed both breasts with DIEP flaps. Subsequently, she had nipple reconstruction for both breasts, using the skin from the DIEP flap that was already there. Note the After appearance of her tummy, with a scar that can be hidden even in a bikini.
